Computer-Guided Implants
Our dentists use advanced computer technology to guide dental implant placement and help ensure the best possible results for your treatment. Dental implants are prosthetic teeth which replace the entire tooth to restore your oral health and function. The implant post replaces the tooth root and is surgically inserted into the jawbone to provide a stable foundation for the tooth. It performs the same functions as the original tooth root, including stimulating your supporting jawbone, to promote better long-term results from your treatment. After the post is placed, our dentists will create an implant restoration to cap the post and fully restore your smile. Your restoration could be a dental crown, dental bridge or denture.
Computer-guided implant surgery helps ensure that your implant post is placed precisely. Using computer software and computed tomography (CT) 3D imaging, our dentists can locate the optimal position for your implant post and place it accurately to give you a strong and long-lasting final result. This state-of-the-art technology is a great tool for ensuring that you receive only the highest possible quality of care.
